Philips Lighting, a global leader in lighting, takes connected lighting to new levels with the launch of Philips Hue 2.0.
Hue is a personal wireless lighting system designed to give the user the best lighting experience, turning every home into a smart home. It unites the user’s needs and wants into one system and can be controlled from any device at any location.
The Hue bridge plugs into the Wi-Fi router, ensuring connectivity between the Hue app, Wi-Fi and up to 50 Hue bulbs. The Philips Hue ecosystem software is completely open source – all Philips Hue compatible products, Philips branded and third party, work seamlessly together to change the way that people experience home lighting.
Emily Dixon, Marketing Manager – Consumer and Trade says, “Philips Hue goes beyond illumination, you can paint your walls with a selection of 16 million colours, turn your lights on when you’re away from home, as well as have your lights wake you up gently in the morning. The possibilities are endless and we are excited to bring Philips Hue to the New Zealand market.”
Turn on your imagination:
Customise any home by changing each light bulb to any colour in the app’s 16 million colour spectrum. Re-create that perfect sunset by matching the lights with the colour from your favourite photograph. Users can also save their favourite scenes so that settings can be re-lived with the touch of a finger. With a host of third party apps available, users can sync music with their lights and change the way way you watch TV, movies and gaming. For more informationvisit the Philips website
