Family home designed to clearly separate private and public areas

The previous home on this L-shaped site had no street presence – it looked as if it was the service entry to the neighbouring property. Architect Robin Tan's design for a new house on the property created a sculptural entrance into a basement level garage, with a roof top garden above. Further back is a small two-storey wing of the home, containing formal living on the first level and the master suite above.
