The WaterNest 01
Eco-friendly homes, renewable energy and living off the grid has become increasingly popular as people begin to realize that we need to take better care of Mother Earth in order for everything that lives on it to thrive.
But that doesn't mean, you can't enjoy some of the best life has to offer at the same time. Developed by EcoFloLife and designed by architect Giancarlo Zema, the solar-powered floating house is a very attractive, and low-impact option for living in harmony with nature.
The roof of The WaterNest 100 has been covered with amorphous solar panels that can generate 4kWp - plenty for power-driven lifestyles.
It also has skylights and a nearly 1,000-square-foot living room area.
The WaterNest 100 has a very appealing, modern vibe, but it also offers a flexible interior design that can be changed to suit different uses. Large windows and balconies wrap around the unit to allow users to enjoy views of the water.
If the owner doesn't plan to use it as a home, it can easily be reconfigured into an office space, lounge bar, restaurant, shop, or exhibition space.
This may be one of the best eco-friendly homes yet. Find out more about the WaterNest 100 here
