Established in 2000, DKO Architecture has grown from a small but dedicated team delivering medium-density residential architecture, into a practice of more than 80 design professionals working out of multiple offices in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
And as the practice has expanded, so too has the breadth of projects. These range from landmark mixed-use developments to bespoke residences, luxury resorts, retail interiors, community churches and large-scale masterplanned developments.
DKO principal Koos de Keijzer says the new Auckland office was established as a response to major architectural commissions in Auckland and Christchurch. Current projects include a major masterplan for Fletcher Living at Three Kings, Auckland, and East and North Frame and Awatea Village in Christchurch.
