The ‘Aïshti foundation’ has opened its doors to the public after a three year long construction period.

Designed by David Adjaye, the mixed-use cultural centre is located in the capital of Beirut and is dedicated to holding and showcasing contemporary personal artwork from the CEO of the AÏshti brand.

Alongside the art galleries, a number of retail outlets and leisure facilities will be housed in the development.

The exoskeleton applied to the building is an aluminium tubulur structure, while the red façade covers the building in multiple layers and patterns similar t the perforated woodwork of traditional arabic architecture.

The interiors are adorned with large windows that present sea and city views, creating a visual dialogue between Beirut’s skyline and the geneours gallery space.
