An innovative range of imported Italian strip floor tilesadds a new dimension to design flexibility

Variable vision

We often look to Italy for the latest trends in fashion, design and innovative product developments.

The new tile range from Viva Ceramica illustrates why Italy is a global source for design ideas, says Renee Jacobsen from Jacobsen Creative Surfaces.

Viva's latest release is a range of porcelain floor tiles called Mix & Match. These come in strips comprising a variety of different tile sizes mounted onto a mesh backing. The tile strips can be installed as a single-tile unit to give the look of a random, multi-tile pattern.

"This innovative product gives designers flexibility because it can be used in so many different ways," says Jacobsen.

Ease of installation is a further advantage of the Mix & Match range. The tiles can be applied to an entire floor or wall, or incorporated as a feature strip.

Jacobsen has exclusive rights to import Viva Ceramica products. The company also stocks a range of other flooring options, as well as bathroom tapware and furniture.
