Taste of history

The same design philosophy of simplicity, neutrality and clean lines extends into the kitchen, with its light-toned timber cabinetry, and white benchtops.

Granite Workshop fabricated and installed the island and main benchtops, which are made from Crystal Polar White Technistone®, a product manufactured from a combination of 93% quartz and granite, with 7% additives.

Santa Barbara Homes director Richard Vincent says the owners selected this particular product for its clean, monochromatic appearance.

"The simple, unembellished look works well with the timber cabinetry and allows it to be appreciated, rather than overwhelmed," he says.

Granite Workshop fabricates, supplies and installs Technistone benchtops for residential and commercial applications. This durable product is resistant to high temperatures, chemicals, abrasion, scratches and cutting. It is available in a choice of colours, thicknesses and edge profiles.
