High-performance shower heads from Topliss Bros Engineers combine good design with energy efficiency

Quiet strengths

While renovating your home is the perfect time to upgrade your plumbing and bathroom fixtures, the luxury of a high pressure shower head doesn't have to mean large water bills.

Topliss Bros Engineers offers a range of shower fittings that will make optimum use of an upgraded water pressure system, says managing director David Topliss.

The family-run company has been designing and building shower mixing valves and shower heads specifically to New Zealand conditions for fifty years.

"Our latest Ceramic Shower Mixer makes life easier for energy-focused remodellers," he says. "It's easy to adjust, has a tamper-proof flow limiter, for water saving at higher pressures, and a temperature-limiting ring for safety and power savings."

The company has also upgraded its Ultra Two-Way Shower, which combines the convenience of a wall mounted shower with a hand-held shower.

The Ultra Shower has Varijet control on an all-brass, fixed shower head. This offers optimum performance for low pressure systems as well as water-saving advantages when used with high pressure systems.

"Both mixer and matching showers offer low-noise operation, and can be adjusted to various water pressures," he says.
