This office for a chemical company was designed to make the best possible use of a limited amount of land
A key requirement for this project was to make use of the limited space and leave the site with as much green area as possible.
This building is also eco-friendly in terms of zoning, orientation and insulation. All circulation areas and hallways were designed to make use of natural ventilation and lighting. Other areas are fully enclosed to allow air conditioning to operate effectively. As a way to decrease unnecessary heat gain as well as avoid extra cost for glazing, most of the façade area is solid.
The arrangement of voids and windows was designed to create the impression of a bas-relief pattern and helps to liven up the building and add character.
