Environmentally friendly and flexible for every design
For this project, in a home on Waiheke Island, Shoreditch Furniture designed, manufactured and installed this 1970's inspired kitchen using 100% sustainable Birch plywood. All the carcasses, shelving, panels, and most of the door fronts for the kitchen and pantry are made with made with 18mm Futura HPL. The orange doors are 6mm Birch and Eurolite HPL was used for the draw bases and backs.
Plywood offers many possibilities for the design and look of your interiors – at the same time, it is a sustainable material. Very little waste is generated during the manufacturing process as almost all wood “by-products” are recycled and wood itself is a famously sustainable building material.
One of the largest distributors of plywood in New Zealand, Plytech International, imports specialist plywood-based products from all over the world and specialises in offering the very latest products available from Europe. The company offers an extensive range of plywood panels in New Zealand.
