Your living environment is just as important as your home's architectural styling. Mission Homes ensures both aspects meet your needs
Starting a new home-building project will always be a major undertaking – but it needn't be a hassle. With professional help, it can even be an enjoyable process with a happy ending.
Mission Homes specialises in the design and construction of quality homes in the greater Auckland area. Company interior designer Tracey Main says Mission Homes can help homeowners right from the initial planning stages.
"It can be difficult to know just where to start when planning a new home," she says. "Our team can take clients right through the process, starting with the architectural design and finishing with the interior decoration and landscaping."
The designer says Mission Homes also works with clients who already have architectural plans. Alternatively, clients may choose from the company's range of standard designs. These include classical, traditional and contemporary home styles, all of which can be adapted to individual needs.
"Whichever option a client chooses, we can ensure their home is built exactly to their requirements, and to their budget."
Tracey Main says Mission Homes looks to create, not just a house, but an entire living environment.
"Every aspect of our clients' lifestyles is taken into account to ensure their new home will work for them," she says. "These considerations help determine the indoor-outdoor flow, the way the rooms link and the design of outdoor spaces."
The company says it places an emphasis on detail and finish.
"The site supervisor, Richard Irvine, the production team, builders and suppliers all work as a team to make sure a high standard is maintained. The company's interior designers can advise on the latest trends in colour, lighting, kitchen and bathroom design.
The homes featured on these pages are typical of the design diversity offered by the company. The home shown above was designed by Mission Homes in conjunction with the owner, and built using the Insulclad system. A two-toned, tiled roof, cedar shutters and wrought-iron trim reflect a Mediterranean influence.
The home featured on the opposite page is a standard Mission Homes design, which was adapted to suit the client. The design incorporates an internal courtyard garden accessed from the living areas.
All Mission Homes projects come with a five-year guarantee.
