To achieve filtered natural light in your living spaces at a touch, consider precision-fitted wood louvres from Sonnaire
Painted or left natural, wood louvres can enhance the look of an interior and provide direct control over the sunlight flowing into your home. For the finishing touch on your renovation, custom-fitted louvres offer an eye-catching feature, as well as light-control and privacy.
Sonnaire adjustable wood louvres are all custom made to suit any window environment, says owner Ian Midgley.
"Our louvres are crafted from solid cedar, chosen for its stability and aesthetic qualities, although other timbers are available," he says. "We create louvres for both internal and external applications."
Internal options including a louvre with 62mm-deep blades, spanning 750cm, or a 90mm-wide louvre, spanning one metre in length. The latter model is suitable for large, expansive rooms.
All Sonnaire blades, available in both adjustable and fixed models, have a smooth, contoured profile as a design feature.
"Our outdoor options range from louvres though to gable vents," says Midgley.
Sonnaire is a division of Whenuapai Joinery, a company with 18 years' experience in the woodworking industry. The parent company offers clients a wide range of custom-built joinery options.
