When renovating this home, the architect added a new guesthose as well as a bright, flexible room to be used year round

From the architect: The owner of this home was looking for a more formal/elegant entry, so we completely redesigned the entry porch and roof with classic columns and a clean/classic gable roof design.
The existing kitchen was convoluted and awkwardly laid out, while at the same time being cut off from the rest of the house. Our renovation reorganized the kitchen and opened it up to the dining and living spaces, creating a more airy and light filled space that is central to the home.
The client also wanted a “3 season” like room extending from the living area with plenty of windows and natural light, but needed it to year round. Our 400sf addition provided this bright flexible space while also creating a beautiful exterior courtyard patio (away from the pool area) accessible from all living areas. The room provides filtered natural light and a retreat for relaxing and/or outdoor dining.
