The face of business is changing as companies in synergisticindustries unite to offer an all-inclusive service
TWO OR MORE companies getting together to share resources not only makes economic and environmental sense, the resulting amalgamation is often greater than the sum of its parts. By utilising the same office space, companies that share the same target market can offer their clients a fully comprehensive service.
Design firm Yellowfox has recently moved into the new premises of Construction Marketing Services (CMS) at the Future Proof Building Centre in Ellerslie, where they will be working independently within the centre. The proximity will have wider, ongoing benefits, says Yellowfox design manager Shelley Brockliss.
"CMS works in the building industry educating others on how to future-proof residential and commercial developments. The new premises will be the future-proof building education centre – an entire building filled with the best of building options.
"Situated in the building will be the new Yellowfox studio. The studio will be a hub for the best in interior design and have access to almost every material available on the market. Truly a one-stop shop for everything design-related for your new development, private residence or renovation job."
The Yellowfox team has been commissioned to design the Future Proof Building Centre's interiors and has focused on creating an impressive environment for use by other architects, designers and clients.
"The colour scheme pushes boundaries and creates an enviable working environment for all staff. In addition, the building has been future-proofed with a focus on maximising the use of radiant energy to create optimal warmth, light and comfort levels – the perfect place to educate clients on future-proofing."
Yellowfox specialises in providing design services for kitchen, bathroom, laundry, home office and wardrobe projects, along with interior and exterior colour schemes. As well as offering these services, the Yellowfox team will carry out a number of design workshops and seminars in specific areas of interest for its clients at the new studio.
An emphasis on building strong associations with well-known, respected companies in the industry means if there is anything Yellowfox can't provide, the company is able to refer clients to an industry professional.
