Auckland Inground pools creates custom concrete swimming pools and spas from the high-end to more modest budget options

An architectural concrete inground pool is an asset to your home

A concrete pool will last several lifetimes worth of fun and fitness and add value to your home. Every concrete pool is totally unique and so can be shaped to any site or situation.

This indoor pool and environment designed by award-winning architect Stephen Jones and installed by Auckland Inground Pools is a case in point. The project was a transformation from a tired outdoor kidney shaped pool to a beautiful new indoor pavilion and pool area.

And there's more to this project than meets the eye, says company director Kerry Richmond.

"The luxurious swimming pool also forms an integral part of the pool house construction and includes concealed pillars that help support the building's structure," says Richmond.

"We also installed the Bisazza Tiles mosaic wall that backdrops the pool. This was laid in sequence following the architect's guidelines."

The 10.5m x 4.2m pool is 2m deep at the deep end and is finished in smooth to touch Hydrazzo plaster in Pacific Blue. This has added reflective sand, increasing the pool's sparkle and allure.

As well as growing work in the high-end market, Auckland Inground Pools can create custom built pools and spas to suit all budgets and sites – usually working with the owners' own plans or directly with the architect.

"We are a friendly, family owned company – where myself as the director, with 23 years in the trade, is still on the tools and very much hands on with every pool we create for our clients."
